Urban Development and Housing Minister Bhupendra Singh has informed that Rs 300 crore has been released to compensate the urban local bodies for abolished Octroi tax.
This amount has been released for 413 urban bodies, 5 cantonment areas and one SADA. This amount can be used for salary and other work of civic employees. This amount has been allocated for the month of May.
