Under the Mukhyamantri Kanya Vivah Yojana, newly married couples are given a cheque of Rs. 49,000 so that they can buy essential household items as per their needs.
Chouhan greeted and extended good wishes to the newly-wed couples at the marriage ceremony of Mukhyamantri Kanya Vivah Yojana at Khargone and Sironj in Vidisha district through video conference from Mantralaya today. 166 couples tied the nuptial knot in Khargone and 199 in Sironj.
