Principal Secretary Urban Development and Housing Mr. Neeraj Mandloi reviewed the works of Bhopal, Indore, Satna, Sagar, Ujjain, Gwalior and Jabalpur smart cities.
Mandloi took the updated information about the physical and financial progress of all the smart cities in the state and gave instructions to complete the remaining works of smart cities within the time-limit. The future scope of the SPVs for driving the Smart City Mission and the aspects related to the systems in the ICCC run by them were also discussed.
In a series of G-20 and U-20 events, a workshop on Reinventing Urban Governance for Indian Cities was held at the Brilliant Convention Center premises, Indore. This program was organized by Municipal Corporation Indore under the joint aegis of All India Institute Local Self Governance and National Institute Urban Affairs.
In the workshop, Indore MP Shankar Lalwani, MLA Ramesh Mendola, Chairman of Indore Development Authority Jaipal Singh Chavda, Indore Mayor Pushyamitra Bhargava, Joint Secretary of Union Ministry of Urban Development Kunal Kumar, Principal Secretary Urban Development and Housing Neeraj Mandloi, Additional Commissioner Ruchika Chauhan was specially present.
