The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has picked one person in Madhya Pradesh in raids in various places across the country in connection with the nexus of narcotics trade-terrorism-gangster.
The raids were conducted in Bhind and Barwani distrits of Madhya Pradesh.
The raids were reportedly conducted in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Uttarakhand and Punjab.
In Sendhwa, the team has conducted raids at a place where Sikligar (community members) live, he said without giving further details.
Some members of the Sikligar community is under scanner of the vigilance over alleged involvement in manufacturing and supply of illegal weapons.
In past the NIA has arrested over 15 persons alleged to have connection with criminal gangs, two arms suppliers and one financier under the provisions of Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act.
