In the Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan approves to interest waiver scheme for the waiver of the outstanding interest up to Rs. 2 lakh of 11 lakh 19 thousand defaulter farmers of Primary Agricultural Credit Cooperative Societies (PACS) to waive the amount of Rs. 2 thousand 123 crore. The scheme was approved by the Cabinet in accordance with the announcement of Chief Minister Shri Chouhan “Farmers who have become defaulter due to loan waiver, their interest amount will be paid by the government”. The state government will compensate the defaulter farmers who have outstanding loans of up to Rs. 2 lakh including principal and interest as on March 31, 2023 from Primary Agricultural Credit Cooperative Societies (PACS).
According to the scheme, the farmer should have a loan of up to Rs. 2 lakh including short-term crop loan and medium-term converted loan with interest till March 31, 2023. Defaulter farmers will have to apply in their committee to avail interest waiver. The list containing the details of outstanding loan and interest etc. on the defaulter farmers will be made public through a portal at the bank level. Along with this, special facility has been given to the farmers to provide fertilisers for agricultural work. The amount deposited by the farmer in cash in his loan account, he will be able to get fertilizer up to that amount in the form of loan from the committee. The last date of the scheme has been fixed as November 30, 2023. Detailed instructions of the scheme will be issued by the Cooperative Department.
Formation of new subdivision in Khandwa, Chhatarpur and Dewas
The Cabinet approved formation of new subdivisions, Khalwa in Khandwa district, Gaurihar in Chhatarpur and Tonkkhurd in Dewas. The new subdivision Khalwa will have Tehsil Khalwa’s Patwari Revenue Inspector Mandal Ashpur’s Patwari Halka numbers 1 to 6, 8 to 15, 43 to 49, 51, 52, thus a total of 23 Halkas and Patwari Halka numbers 7, 16 to 39 of Revenue Inspector Mandal Khalwa, a total of 25 Halkas and Patwari Halka number 40 to 42, 50, 53 to 71 of the Revenue Inspector Mandal Roshni, a total of 23 Halkas, thus a total of 71 Halkas will be included. After the creation of Khalwa the remaining subdivision Harsud will have Patwari Halka No. 1 to 16 of Revenue Inspector Mandal Killaud of Tehsil Harsud and Patwari Halka No. 17 to 33 of Revenue Inspector Mandal Harsud and Patwari Halka No. 34 to 50 of Revenue Inspector Mandal Chhanera thus total 50 Halkas will be included. A total of 11 posts have been approved for the efficient operation of the subdivision including 1 of steno typist, 2 of assistant grade-2, 3 of assistant grade-3, 1 of vehicle driver and 4 of peon.
New sub-division Gaurihar in District Chhatarpur will include all Patwari Halka numbers 1 to 74 of Tehsil Gaurihar, thus a total of 74 Patwari Halkas. After the formation of Gaurihar sub-division, the remaining sub-division Lavkushnagar will include Patwari Halka number 1 to 28 of Tehsil Lavkushnagar and Patwari Halka number 1 to 39 of Tehsil Chandla, a total of 67 Patwari Halkas. For the efficient operation of the new sub division, 1 post of steno typist, 2 of assistant grade-2, 3 of assistant grade-3, 1 of vehicle driver and 4 of peon, thus a total of 11 posts have been approved.
The new subdivision Tonkkhurd in District Dewas will comprise all 60 Patwari Halkas of Tehsil Tonkkhurd. After the formation of the new subdivision, all the 69 Patwari Halks of Tehsil Sonkutch will be included in the remaining Sonkutch subdivision. For the efficient operation of subdivision Tonkkhurd, 1 post of steno typist, 2 of assistant grade-2, 3 of assistant grade-3, 1 of vehicle driver and 4 of peon, thus a total of 11 posts have been sanctioned.
Rs. 129 crore 32 lakh approved for WebGIS 2.0 project of Revenue Department
The cabinet approved the technical and financial proposal amounting to Rs 129 crore 32 lakh (GST extra) to be spent for the next 5 years (2023-2024 to 2027-2028) for the implementation of the WebGIS 2.0 project of the Revenue Department.
Decision for MoU to develop Rewa airstrip as airport
The Cabinet decided to execute an MoU between the authority and the state government to develop the Rewa airstrip as an airport by the Airports Authority of India under the regional connectivity scheme of the Government of India. Orders have been issued by the state government as per the demand regarding allotment / making available government land available for the existing airstrip and additional land for ATR-72 (VFR & IFR) type aircraft operation.
Disposal of public property
The Cabinet approved the highest tender amount of Rs. 8 crore 15 lakh 10 from the H-1 tenderer for disposal of Khasra No. 684/1, Ward No. 2 Lavkush Nagar asset total area of 5670 square meter in Chhatarpur, which is 2.43 times of reserve price of Rs. 3 crore 35 lakh and it was decided to sell it after depositing 100 percent of the tender amount by the H-1 tenderer, the contract/registry proceedings will be done by the district collector.
