Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the second phase of Mukhyamantri Jan Sewa Abhiyan will be conducted in the entire state from May 10 to 25. The programme will start from Alirajpur on 10th May. Our aim is that there should be no problem left for the general public and all the complaints lodged in the CM Helpline should be resolved. Ministers, public representatives, officers and employees should contribute to the campaign with a sense of service, solve people’s problems and if the people of the state realize Ramrajya, then only will we all be satisfied with cent percent discharge of our responsibilities.

Chouhan was addressing the meeting regarding the second phase of the campaign at Mantralaya. Ministers, Additional Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary and departmental officers attended the meeting. Commissioners and IGs of all divisions, Collectors from districts, SPs, CEO Zilla Panchayat and Commissioner Municipal Corporation attended the meeting virtually.

The campaign will have 2 components

Chouhan said that the campaign will have two components. In the first component, a campaign will be launched to resolve 67 services related to the general public. This includes services like undisputed transfer of name, property distribution, local resident certificate, birth-death certificate, building permission, driving license, vehicle registration. These services are related to Revenue, General Administration, Urban Development and Housing, Panchayat and Rural Development, Planning, Economic and Statistics, Public Health and Family Welfare, Energy, Labour, Tribal Welfare, Higher Education, Agricultural Marketing Board, Cooperatives, Technical Education-Skill Development and Employment, Horticulture and Transport Departments. In the second component, cent percent redressal will be ensured of complaints lodged till April 15 in the CM helpline but pending till now.

Camps will be organised in field offices

Chouhan said that camps will be organised in 67 field offices providing citizen services. Information about disposal of pending applications related to these services, online or offline, should be entered on the portal daily. The District Collector will nominate nodal officers in each office concerned. Suitable arrangements for seating and drinking water etc. should be made for the applicants coming to each office. It should be ensured that the general public does not face any hardship. Jan Seva Abhiyan (public service campaign) should be widely publicised in all the villages and wards of the districts, so that all the concerned people can become aware of the campaign. The campaign should be conducted in such a way that after May 25, no application of eligible applicants for 67 services is left for disposal.

Separate page for each district will be created on CM Helpline portal

Chouhan said that in the second component of the campaign, cent percent redressal of complaints pending in the CM Helpline would be ensured. For this, a separate page will be created for each district on the CM Helpline portal, on which complaints registered panchayat/municipal body wise till April 15 will be displayed.

The Collector will make necessary co-ordination with the concerned officers for redressal of the complaints and will ensure that the concerned complainant is mandatorily informed about the redressal.

Ministers in charge will regularly review the campaign

Chouhan said that after discussing with the District Collector, Minister in-charge, after obtaining their guidance, prepare the outline of the district. The minister in charge of the district should also regularly review the implementation of the campaign at his level. In the campaign, innovations should also be done at the district level for the convenience of the general public and quick redressal of problems.
