A delegation of International Shooting Sports Federation paid a courtesy visit to the Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan at Bhopal.
Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Yashodhara Raje Scindia was present on the occassion.
Chouhan welcomed the delegation by presenting a bouquet and angavastram.
The delegation met the President of the Federation Luciano Rossi, President of the National Rifle Association of India Raninder Singh, General Secretary of the National Rifle Association of India K.K. Sultan Singh and Chief Coach Manjher Singh.
It is noteworthy that the ISSF World Cup is being held in Bhopal from March 21 to 27. Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Scindia put the lapel pin of the ISSF World Cup on Chief Minister Chouhan.
During the meeting with Chouhan, the members of the delegation appreciated the world-class infrastructure and facilities available for shooting sports in Bhopal.
He said that there are ample possibilities of sports tourism in Bhopal.
He said that the organization of ISSF World Cup will make the global sports community aware of the capability of organizing international level sports competitions in Bhopal.
Chouhan informed the delegation about the ongoing activities for expansion of sports up to the village level in the state, promotion of sports and enhancing the skills of the players.
