Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan administered a massive de-addiction oath. Bharat Sharma and Himanshu Tiwari of World Book of Records handed over the certificate to the district administration and Balipur Dham.
Earlier, Chouhan reached Saptnik Ambika Dham to pay obeisance as a devotee on the 103rd birth anniversary of Shri Shri 1008 Gajanan Ji Maharaj and also planted saplings after offering prayers. He felicitated Saint Yogesh Maharaj.
Chouhan said that Balipur Dham is a wonderful place. I am blessed to have come here. From here, Gurudev has given wisdom to lakhs of people of the state and taught them to live with dignity. It is an energy proven area. I am fully dedicated to the campaign of de-addiction going on in Balipur Dham. Today this work of Guru devotees is wonderful. We will give our full contribution to increase this campaign. The premises of liquor shops will be closed from April 1. Intoxication spoils intelligence, health, family and money, intoxication is the root of destruction.
Chouhan said that sisters should not worry about their small needs and financial requirement, therefore arrangements have been made to provide one thousand rupees to sisters every month in the form of Ladli Bahna Yojana. Sisters in the age group of 23 to 60 of families whose annual income is less than Rs 2.5 lakh, who have less than 5 acres of land and in families where there is no income tax payer are eligible for the scheme. By providing this amount to the sisters, along with them, the whole family will also be benefited. Applications for the scheme will be filled from March 25 to April 30. The applications will be scrutinized in the month of May and the first installment will be deposited in the bank accounts of the sisters on 10th June. Those sisters who do not have bank accounts will also be helped to open their accounts. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that overall ID and Aadhaar number is necessary for the application. Native and income certificate etc. are not required.
Chouhan said that Ladli Laxmi Yojana has taken concrete form ever since. After this, arrangements were made for books, uniforms, cycles etc. to help the daughters in their studies. In order to enable laborers to take rest after the birth of their son or daughter, arrangements have been made to give Rs 4,000 before birth and Rs 12,000 after birth under the Sambal Yojana.
Chouhan talked about adding Manawar Mariapura, Solyapura Talab, Gulati to the Micro Irrigation Project, retrofitting groups of 105 villages based on the Narmada River in Kukshi, Nisarpur and Dahi development blocks in Jal Jeevan Mission on the demand of water supply scheme. . Similarly, under Jal Jeevan Mission, talked about testing of 06 groups of water supply schemes in 233 villages of Gandhwani, Manawar, Sardarpur, Dharampuri, Umarban, Nalchha, Tirla development blocks of fluoride affected area of the district. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan also performed bhoomi-pujan and inaugurated development works worth Rs 78 thousand 961 lakh.
On completion of one lakh houses of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana in Dhar district, a letter of thanks was handed over to Chouhan on behalf of the beneficiaries. Along with this, 84 thousand 879 didis thanked CM Chouhan being the member of the Lakhpati Club by joining the Madhya Pradesh State Rural Livelihood Mission and making their annual income more than one lakh rupees.
