The CBI has arrested an abscondimg accused Vinay Dahiya in an ongoing investigation of a case releated to alleged rigging of JEE(Main)-2021 examination by the private coaching centres.
Name of arrested accused Vinay Dahiya.
During the investigation, it was found that different modus operandi were used which included the alleged leaking of paper a day before the examination, offering remote access of online examination centres to paid solvers and supplying chits pertaining to answers to the candidates during the examination.
The said accused allegedly to be mastermind was apprehended from his hideouts in Gurgaon(Haryana), who was abscondimg since last year.
The arrested accused was produced today before the CMM, RADC, New Delhi and was remanded to 05 days police custody, the official note said on Saturday.
