Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that we will teach Ramayana as well as Gita and essence of Gita to our children. If these texts are not studied on the land of India, then where will it be? Only India can guide humanity engulfed in the fire of materialism to eternal peace.
Chief Minister Chouhan was addressing the gathering at Shri Ram Katha Sthal in BHEL Dussehra Ground. Chief Minister Chouhan, along with his wife Sadhana Singh reached Shri Ram Katha Sthal organized by Bhojpal Mahotsav Mela Committee at Bhel Dussehra ground to seek the blessings of Padma Vibhushan Shri Chitrakoot Tulsi Peethadhishwar Jagadguru Ramanandacharya Swami Rambhadracharya Ji Maharaj. Chief Minister Chouhan garlanded the picture of Lord Shri Ram and applied Tilak.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that Swami Rambhadracharya ji has given a message to purify the youth. This campaign is going on effectively in the state. Strict action is being taken against those who harass women. For giving a grand appearance to our culture Shri Mahakal Mahalok Corridor has been developed. In continuation, the work of installing grand statue of Adi Shankaracharya in Omkareshwar is in progress. Lord Shri Ram stayed in Chitrakoot for eleven years, eleven months and eleven days. Therefore, the corridor will be developed on the live depiction of Shri Ram Van Leelas. Shri Ram’s Bal Leelas will also be performed in Orchha. This will help in acquainting the coming generation with our culture and beliefs.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that after Ladli Laxmi Yojana, Ladli Behan Yojana is being launched in the state which will empower poor women. The state government will work in the direction of discouraging intoxication with the new liquor policy. We are committed to protect the dignity and empower mother, daughter and sisters. All possible cooperation is being provided by the state government in all the social reform activities.
