Some NRIs allegedly failed to get entry into venue for inaugural session of Pravasi Bharatiya Diwas that was addressed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Indore.
The Madhya Pradesh government hosted 17th ‘Pravasi Bharatiya Diwas’ was attended by NRIs from abroad in large number in the inaugural session held on Monday.
The officials reportedly claimed the delegates did not have entry before 8 a.m. into the venue of PM’s programme as per general instructions.
All of NRIs were eager to listen to Modi but some were disappointed for not getting entry to the venue.
They were heard saying if we had to watch Modiji speak on TV or phone only, why did we fly so far from the US to Indore.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan after learning the pain of the NRIs regretted and tried to pacify those.
