Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that CM Young Professionals for Development Program is an important initiative taken in the democratic system.
Work will be done to bring good governance on the ground with the help of youth in Madhya Pradesh. Continuous work is being done in this direction for the last one year, he said.
Chouhan was addressing the Good Governance Meet programme at Rabindra Bhavan this evening.
During this, the Chief Minister mentioned in detail the efforts of good governance in Madhya Pradesh and replied to the queries of the youth.
Chouhan said that democracy is the rule of the people, by the people and for the people. Our system is huge. Making schemes is easy, but the task of making the schemes accessible to the eligible people is difficult. Due to negligence by some people and because of the tendency of exploitation, many schemes do not reach the grassroots. Apart from government machinery, the implementation of schemes can be made easier by using youth energy.
Chouhan said that he has decided to seek the help of the youth, in acquiring information about the schemes. The youth are becoming the eyes and ears of the governance of this system. Morning meetings of the districts have been held based on the information given by the youth. Good governance is that the benefits of schemes reach the right person without difficulty or delay.
Chouhan said that many schemes have been made for the youth as well. Several schemes were introduced to deal with the suffering of the people in practical life. Ladli Laxmi Yojana is a biggest example of this. Chief Minister Chouhan explained in detail about the inspiration for starting the Ladli Laxmi Yojana, its implementation and new form. Chief Minister Chouhan also mentioned the Yuva Udyami Yojana and other schemes.
New youth policy will come next month
Chief Minister Chouhan said that the new youth policy will be finalized by including the views of the youth. This policy will be introduced on January 13. Before this, the process of discussion on youth policy will be completed through seminars in various educational institutions. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan urged that more and more youth should take part in the formulation of this policy. Provisions related to youth will be implemented by including them in the youth policy.
Talking to the youth, Chief Minister Chouhan said that he got the lesson of love for nature naturally in the village since childhood. The types of games were also related to nature. Various sports activities used to take place on the banks of Narmada. He was the first to fight for the increase in the honorarium of rural workers. After this, the welfare of the public was kept at the center in continuous public life.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that the PESA Act has been implemented in Madhya Pradesh. The Mukhya Mantri Jan Seva Abhiyan started on September 17 on the birthday of the Prime Minister, which continued till October 31. In a month and a half, 83 lakh eligible beneficiaries were identified for various schemes. CM Shri Chouhan said that the works of public welfare will continue.
G-20 summit achievement for India
Chief Minister Chouhan said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Modi, India has got to host the G-20 Summit, which is a matter of pride. Also, Prime Minister Modi deserves special thanks because he decided the activities of G-20 in each state. There will be 7 meetings related to G-20 in Madhya Pradesh. Representatives of different countries will also visit Indore, Ujjain and the world heritage site Khajuraho. With this, marketing of Madhya Pradesh will be done in the whole world. The culture of Madhya Pradesh, its folk arts, its special etiquette and the spirit of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam will reach the countries of the world. Necessary preparations are being done for this.
Chief Minister Chouhan told the youth that you should work by setting a target, prepare a road map, leave no stone unturned in hard work, Karma Yoga has been considered scientific. If I work consistently, there is a strong will power behind it. This boosts work efficiency. Quoting the words of Swami Vivekananda, Chief Minister Chouhan said that “man is a part of God and no work is impossible for him.” CM Chouhan also mentioned the verse of Gita, in which staying away from factionalism, staying free from ego, and learning to work with enthusiasm have been considered necessary for success. CM Chouhan said that there is no need for the youths to despair. If man wants, he can command even the universe. The youths who interacted with Chief Minister Chouhan today include Himanshu Gupta, Bhopal, Dheeraj Patidar, Narsinghpur, Sushri Saina Qureshi, Datia and Devanshu Gautam, Jabalpur.
Pledge administered to the youth
During the Good Governance Meet programme, Chief Minister Chouhan administered pledge to the youths to plant saplings for the development of the environment, make continuous efforts for the respect of daughters, save electricity and water and make efforts to benefit the society through de-addiction. Vice Chairman of Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Good Governance and Policy Analysis Prof. Sachin Chaturvedi, Chief Executive Officer Prateek Hajela, Additional Chief Executive Officer Lokesh Sharma and Chairman of State Skill Development and Employment Board Shailendra Sharma were present.
MoU signed with eight institutions
In the presence of Chief Minister Chouhan, Vice Chairman of Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Good Governance and Policy Analysis, Professor Sachin Chaturvedi signed MoUs for sharing innovations with 8 different institutions.
