Three persons were arrested for allegedly killing a 65-year-old man who sodomised them and revealed in the public about it, the police said.
The man was retired from the state owned institution recently, the police said.
Devendra Sen (18), Manish Chaddar (24) and Santosh Yadav (42) were arrested for allegedly suffocated to death Munna Lal Kushwaha (63), the police said.
Munna Lal sodomised the accused persons and revealed about it in the public, the police said.
Amit Patel nephew of old man informed the police that his uncle went to the farm on November 8, 2022 but did not returned to the residence, the police said.
The nephew went next morning to the farm but found the old man lying dead in a nearby agriculture field, he said.
On postmortem it is revealed the old man died of suffocation, later the police registered the case under section 302 of IPC against unknown accused in Madhotal police station of Jabalpur district in Madhya Pradesh.
Jabalpur Superintendent of Police Siddharth Bahuguna announced a reward of Rs 10,000 on information leading to arrest of the accused person.
During the investigation, the police interrogated the family members of the deceased, neighboring farmers and about 50 people along with the accused persons Devendra Sen, Manish Chadhar and Santosh Yadav. b
In the investigation it was found Devendra knew deceased Munna Lal Kushwaha for about three years for he went to the shop of Devendra for hair cutting, the police said.
Munna Lal had unnatural act with him (Devendra) and other boys and also used to give them money and facilitated alcohol drinking, after that he used to have physical relations with them.
Munna Lal used to pressurize for physical relation (unnatural act) and used to inform other persons, due to which Devendra Sen, Manish Chadar and Santosh Yadav suddenly planned to kill him (Munna Lal Kushwaha) for felt humiliated on his due speaking in public about the matter.
The police seized from the spot sex spray, sex tablets and oil bottles, the baton used in the crime.
