Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said many countries of the world are looking at India with full of hope. India will lead the world. There is a lot of power in having a sense of love, harmony, unity and mutual respect. By breaking the walls of hatred, we have to flow the Ganges of love. Everyone should work together for the progress of India. Central and state government schemes are applicable to all without any discrimination. Let us work together for development in a better environment without quarrels and bloodshed.
Chouhan was addressing the “Akhand Bharat: Ek Paricharcha” and “Deepawali Milan” ceremony of Muslim Rashtriya Manch at Mannat Garden in Chhola area on Wednesday evening.
Chouhan said that by living together with love and brotherhood with the spirit of Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Prayas trust, the work of building and strengthening a united India would be possible. India was partitioned in the year 1947, but our culture, our ancestors, our rivers are one. Mazhab Nahi Sikhata Aapas Mein Bair Rakhna – Hindi Hai Hum Watan Hai Hindostan Hamara. (Religion does not teach to have enmity with each other – we are Hindi, our country is India.) We all have the same colour of blood. We have taken food produced on this soil. The aggressors had come from outside. Our culture is one. We have to respect our traditions. The message of unity and harmony of the Muslim Rashtriya Manch should spread everywhere.
Chouhan said that it can be believed that the divided countries will be united again. Walls of hatred should not be erected. There should be no riots and fights.
Chouhan said the livelihood of many people is affected due to quarrels and conflicts. Criminal elements and those breaking the peace will not be tolerated in Madhya Pradesh. Strict punishment has been prescribed for serious crimes.
National President of Muslim Rashtriya Manch Indresh Kumar said that we were one, are one and will remain one. Muslim community should not live as a minority but as a native citizen of India. We all should be called Hindustani. Everyone has to work together to build a united, powerful and self-reliant India. Everyone should come forward as good and true Indians to build a new India. It has also been said by the poet Allama Iqbal, “Saare Jahan se Accha Hindustan Hamara.”
Kumar said programmes are being organised in our ma-drasa on Independence and Republic Day. Efforts for goodwill and brotherhood by organising Deep Utsavs in dargahs are also becoming popular. Our languages, dialects and faces are similar. Then why is it necessary that there should be war on our borders, why can’t there be peace on the borders, terrorism and Naxalism have not benefitted anyone. Lakhs of people have died. Let us support such a system in which there is no terror, no infiltration and no smuggling of gold, silver and money.
Indresh Kumar said that Garuda is the symbol of Indonesia’s air service. There are symbols and monuments of Indian culture in many countries. When there can be a European Union then why can’t there be an Indian Union. Today, instead of quarrels, there is a need for reconciliation and solution.
Tulsi plant was presented to the guests in the programme. Shawls, Ang-Vastras and mementos were presented. Manch’s National Convener Mohammad Afzal, Madhya Pradesh Convener Mohammad Farooq Khan, SK Muddin, Tapan Bhowmik, Ramesh Sharma “Guttu Bhaiya” were present in the programme along with many people’s representatives.
In the beginning, the picture of Mother India was garlanded. It concluded with the national anthem.
