The MP Pollution Control Board organises rallies in 21 cities of Madhya Pradesh to aware masses on threat of single use plastic on the environment.

Under the Madhya Pradesh Foundation Day program series, programs related to environmental public awareness are being organized by the MP Pollution Control Board.

To commemorate this, a public awareness rally was organized at Indore on Sunday.

The rally was flagged off by Indore Mayor Pushpmitra Bhargava and ADM Rajesh Rathore.

The rally reached the Jaal auditorium, South Tukoganj, Indore from Madhumilan square Nehru statue again reach to the Jaal adutiorium.

The rally was mainly attended by Association of Industries MP president Yogesh Mehta, Indian Plast Pack Forum president Sachin Bansal, Association of Pulses Manufacturing president Suresh Agarwal were present on the ocassion.

The school children, students of medical and technical colleges, officers and members of various companies and industrial organizations were present in this rally organized by the MP Pollution Control Board.
Before the start of the rally, the officials of MP Pollution Control Board welcomed the guests in the auditorium.

Regional Pollution Officer SN Dwivedi welcomed ADM Rajesh Rathore, Association of Industries MP president Yogesh Mehta, Indian Plast Pack Forum president Sachin Bansal, Association of Pulses Manufacturing president Suresh Agarwal and other dignitaries.

Addressing the gathering, ADM Rathore said the state is celebrating its 7th foundation day and there is focus for environment protection too.

He said Indore is number one in cleanliness, in the same way, it should also come first in environmental protection. This event of state level rally was held simultaneously in 21 cities.
