A woman has lodged an FIR against two Congress MLAs from Satna and Kotma (Anuppur) of Madhya Pradesh for alleged touching and abusing her in running train, the police said.
However Congress MLAs Siddarth Kushwah from Satna and Suneel Saraf from Kotma, Anuppur reportedly denied the charges levelled against them by a 32-year-old woman passenger travelling with her infant child.
The incident reportedly occurred in the Rewa-Habibganj, Rewanchal Express bound for Bhopal was running between Katni and Damoh stations.
The woman contacted her husband on phone and narrated the incident in turn her husband tweeted for help to the railway minister and the DRM, sooner the RPF and GRP cops flung into action at Sagar station.
The complaint of woman is registered under section 354 of IPC against the Congress MLAs, the police said.
Saraf told reporters that I have not seen the face of the woman and the allegations are false. Kushwaha said that I have not seen the woman and the charges are false.
BJP state president VD Sharma talking to reporters condemned Congress MLAs for their behavior with a woman and asked Congress to respond over this act of its legislators.
