Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan reviewed preparation of arrival of Cheetahs in Palpur Kuno Wildlife Sanctuary in Sheopur district on September 17 next.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will grace the function of arrival of Cheetahs from Namibia to India on September 17, Home Minister Dr. Narottam Mishra said.
Prime Minister Modi’s birthday is on September 17 will arrive in MP and participate in various functions, he said.
Chouhan reviewed the preparation in the cabinet meeting held on Tuesday.
The chief minister reviewed the progress to erect memorial in name of Dr. Keshav Baliram Hedgewar in Rampyali, Balaghat where his works will be displayed, Mishra said.
Hedgewar participated in freedom movement and went to the jail, he said.
The cabinet has approved three important schemes related to self employment, generating new opportunities for scheduled tribe youth including Bhagwan Birsa Munda Swarojgar Yojna, Tantya Mama Arthik Kalyan Yojna, Mukhamantri Anushuchit Janjati Vishesh Vith Poshit Yojna, he said.
The cabinet has removed the discrepancy and approved two months holiday in three years for the personnel of Home Guards, he said.
