President of the Executive Council of Madhya Pradesh Gau Palan and Pashudhan Samvardhan Board, Swami Akhileshwaranand Giri informed that state-of-the-art cow ambulance facility would be made available in all 313 development blocks of the state soon.
For this, funds have been received from the central government and tenders have also been invited. With the help of state-of-the-art gau ambulance, cow injured in an accident or sick will get quick treatment. Charnoi land has also been allotted for arrangement of fodder in the state. The proposal for the formation of Charnoi ‘Bhoomi Vikas Mission’ has been sent to the state government. Decision on this will be taken soon and will commence it’s implementation.
Swami Akhileshwaranand Giri gave this information in a meeting of all the government and non-government gaushala operators and representatives of the district in Chhindwara today. Swamiji said that the process of meeting has been started from Chhindwara, which will be held in all the districts of the state. He informed that two types of action plans have been prepared by the board for rearing, protection and promotion of cows in the state.
Participation of women self-help groups will also be ensured in the first action plan to be operated with public participation.
In the second action plan, the economy of gaushalas will be strengthened. He appealed to the 7 crore people of the state to collect Rs 10 per day in their piggy bank in the form of gau grass and after completion of 365 days, the amount should be deposited in the account of the board through the portal. With this amount, the gaushalas of the state will be made financially independent.
Among those present in the meeting were Vice-President of District Level Gaupalan and Pashudhan Samvardhan Samiti, Rahul Vasule and member Sandeep Verma, Deputy Director Animal Husbandry Dr. H.G.S. Pakshwar, Dr. M.K. Maurya, Dr. Abhishek Shukla, operators and representatives of government and non-government gaushalas.
