Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said a massive programme to be organised for drug de-addiction on October 2. De-addiction campaign should be carried out on a large scale.
A message should be given to the public through the massive programme that intoxication is the root of destruction.
The campaign is not for a week but to go on endlessly. Ensure active participation of various departments and societies associated with the campaign.
Chouhan reviewed the Social Justice and Disabled Welfare Department in Mantralaya. Chief Secretary Shri Iqbal Singh Bains, Principal Secretary Shri Manoj Govil and other departmental officers were present.
The Chief Minister said a roadmap should be prepared to organize mass marriages by fixing the dates in Mukhyamantri Kanya Vivah/Nikah Yojana. The task of providing pension after cent percent physical verification of the beneficiaries of all pension schemes should be taken seriously.
He said transgenders should get the benefits of government schemes. State Transgender Policy should be published.
The programmes should be organised to transfer funds to the accounts of the beneficiaries with a single click.
