State Home Minister Dr. Narottam Mishra said taking a big step in the interest of farmers, the cabinet has decided to continue the scheme of giving short term crop loans at zero percent interest rate to the farmers of the state.
The loan is provided to the farmers is through cooperative banks/primary agricultural credit cooperative societies in the year 2022-23, he said.
The cabinet decided to implement Mukhyamantri Bal Ashirwad Yojna to rehabilitate children above 18 years of age leaving child care centers in the state, he said.
Under the scheme sponsorship is provided to the orphans up to the age of 18 years living with their relatives/guardians.
The Bal Ashirwad Yojna hai they will be educated till 24 years of age and financial assistant of various purposes including medical treatment will be provided in the joint account, he said.
Taking important initiative towards women empowerment, the cabinet has approved the formation of Mukhyamantri Nari Samman Kosh and Mukhyamantri Udyam Shakti Yojana. The rate of interest on loan is reduced from 4% loan to 2 %, this will benefit the self help groups and individual women folk engaged in self employment, he said
