The BJP state unit marched down to the Raj Bhavan to protest against the remark made by Leader of Congress in Lok Sabha and MP Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury on President Droupadi Murmu.
BJP state chief VD Sharma, Minister Vishwas Sarang, MLA Rameshwar Sharma along with activists reached Raj Bhavan.
The march started from Kushabhau Thackeray Convention Centre and concluded at the Raj Bhawan.
The BJP delegation met Governor Mangubhai Patel and submitted a memorandum demanding action against Congress leader Chowdhury.
The BJP activists were heard shouting slogans against the Congress leader demanding his dismissal.

Sharma addressing the activists at Minto Hall Complex midway to the Raj Bhawan said the citizen across the country were happy for Droupadi Murmu becoming the first tribal woman as the President.
He said Congress leader made indecent remark and has exposed his attitude and is condemned by the people across the country.
