MP Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said the youth must come forward to make Madhya Pradesh Atmanirbhar.
For this, he coined a slogan ‘Youth for Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh.’
He said the youth should think about their career and participate in making the state self reliant.
Chouhan was addressing the inaugural session of two-day Youth MahaPanchayat at Bhopal on Saturday.
The government will support the initiatives taken by them, he said.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched Atmanirbhar Bharat campaign so Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh, he said.
The government wants to make the state self reliant through participation of youth, Chouhan said.
He asked youth to give suggestions to work more on initiatives to make the state self reliant.
Only those suggestions of the youth will be considered that have practical applicability and possible for the government to execute those in the field, Chouhan said.
He invited suggestions from the youth to prepare the state youth policy.
The government will prepare state youth policy on lines of national youth policy for which the youth need to give their suggestions, Chouhan said.
The state youth policy will be declared on January 12 next, this day is observed as Yuva Diwas on birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, he said.
