MP Pradesh Congress Committee president Kamal Nath has urged Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan to provide best possible treatment to a Saharia tribe community woman was set ablaze at village Dhanoria in district Guna.

Nath said ‘Me Mukhya Manti se agrah karta hun ki pidit adivasi mahila ko behtar ilaz uplabdh karaye jaye’.

The condition of woman is serious, her entire family be given proper security, he tweeted.

At village Dhanoria in Guna district reportedly a tribal woman Rampyari Bai is undergoing treatment for severe burn injuries was injured after three persons allegedly set her on fire by pouring diesel over a land dispute.

Nath said the woman’s husband says he had given an application to the police on June 23, for security after receiving threats, but security was not provided.

‘I want to ask Shivraj ji why his government has such a hostile attitude towards the tribal community? When will the tribal community in the state be safe?’, he adds.

The family must be compensated immediately for their sufferings and stringent punishment be given to the accused, he said.

He alleged continuous atrocities were committed on the tribals under Shivraj Singh Chouhan government.

Nath was on election campaign in Khandwa and Burhanpur districts on Sunday.
