A woman caretaker was arrested for beating a two-year-old child on a complaint supported by the CCTV video footage provided by the parents to the police in Jabalpur, MP.
Rajni Ahirwar was seen in the CCTV video footage beating the child frequently for no reasons, the police said.
The parents are working and they engaged Rajni to take care of their child.
For past few days or so the parents noticed the child is taken ill and his health is deteriorating, they suspected something is going wrong as food was kept for the child and the caretaker was only to feed the child and play with him, the police said.
The parents installed cameras in the house to keep watch over the movements of the child and the activities of woman caretaker, the police said.
The parents saw the CCTV footage and found the woman caretaker is beating the child, lifting the child from neck, pulling the hairs, the police said.
The case was registered against the woman caretaker under relevant provisions of IPC.
