A 19-year-old woman beaten to death her mother-in-law for stopped her from often continuously talking on mobile phone for long duration in village Kaudia in Damoh district.
Cheena Burman (19) killed her mother-in-law Nanni Bai (47) with mogri for insisting to pay attention in homely work instead of talking on mobile phone.
Often both of them had heated exchanges on this issue on Wednesday Cheena got annoyed and started beating Nanni Bai with mogri, on sustaining fatal body injuries she died, the police said.
Cheena called her husband Ajay on phone as he was not present in the house when the incident occurred, she told Ajay about mother is in injured condition had come back to house from agriculture field, when Ajay returned saw mother lying injured on the bed, he said.
The accused woman alongwith her husband went to informed the police about the incident, the police said.
The cops during conversation with the couple suspected the behavior of Cheena and later arrested on her confession of killing mother-in-law, the police said.
The police produced the accused woman in the court from where she is sent to the jail.
