A Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) personnel drowned in river Narmada while taking bath in the Jamtara ghat in Jabalpur.
The body of ITBP soldier Vikas Gurjar (30) was found floating near Tilwara over 5 kilometers far from the Jamtara ghat on the river, the police said.
Vikas alongwith few other soldiers went to take bath in the river on Monday when he got drowned in deep waters where the flow of water was strong, the police said.
The report of missing was lodged with the police and the search operation in the river was launched, the police said.
