Famous actor Kamal Haasan will launch his party in Madurai today. Apart from addressing many meetings, he will also unveil the party’s flag in Madurai. Before starting the political party, veteran actor Kamal Haasan went to the residence of former President Abdul Kalam in Rameswaram and negotiated with his family members. During this, Kamal Haasan was very warmly welcomed.

The actor interacted with Kamal’s 90-year-old brother Mohammed Muthuimira Leibai Marikkayar. During this, the other relatives of the former President were present around them. The actor was also scheduled to visit a school in the day but he had to make some changes in his schedule. Due to lack of permission from the administration, he canceled his visit.

According to the actor’s program, after addressing the public, he will be leaving for nearby Paramkkudi; After that, Manamadurai. He will address meetings at these two places. Delhi’s Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will be formally involved in Kamal Haasan’s party. Close sources of Haasan said that there is also the possibility of Kejriwal to address the meeting.

The Chief Minister of Delhi had met Haasan in September 2017 when the actor had indicated signs of starting a political shift. Taking an indirect indication of Hassan’s political ambitions, DMK executive president MK Stalin compared him to ‘beautiful looking paper flowers’ which did not spread fragrance.

Earlier in the day, actor Seaman met him at Kamal’s house in Chennai. He had strongly opposed Rajanikanth if he did not belong to the Tamil origin.

He told the reporters, “Kamal had expressed his desire to meet him, but he felt that he should go to his (lotus) house, because he is older than him.” The commandant said that he is also a resident of Ramanathapuram district.
