The Delhi Police on Wednesday kept a man from Karnataka for attempting to coercively enter National Security Adviser (NSA) Ajit Doval’s home in New Delhi, individuals mindful of the matter said.
The individual’s personality has been held back. He went to Doval’s home in a vehicle and attempted to get inside as safety officers sent there in the end halted him. “He isn’t offering reasonable responses. We are addressing him. He doesn’t have all the earmarks of being of a sound psyche,” said a Delhi Police official, who asked not to be named.

Doval is a previous Intelligence Bureau (IB) boss and one of the most-monitored authorities in the country. Police said IB will be among the offices that will scrutinize the man.

The Delhi Police have been on guard since an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) was found external the Ghazipur natural product market a month ago. The IED was subsequently annihilated through a controlled blast.
