The Border Security Force (BSF) recuperated 47kg of heroin and a reserve of arms after an experience with Pakistani dealers close to Chandu Wadala station in survey bound Punjab’s line locale of Gurdaspur on Friday morning.

The episode occurred at 5.15am when BSF work force saw dubious development across the security barrier. They observed suspects attempting to push in something into Indian region and tested them.
“The suspects didn’t quit after which our jawans started shooting. The suspects fought back. One of our staff got a slug injury yet the pirating bid was thwarted,” said a senior BSF official, mentioning obscurity.
He said the state of the BSF jawan is steady.
At the point when the region was looked, 47 bundles of heroin enveloped by plastic covers, seven parcels of opium, 44 rounds of 0.30 type, a Chinese gun and two magazines, a Beretta gun, and four magazines of AK series rifles were recuperated from the spot.
On January 11, the BSF recuperated 22 kg of heroin in Tarn Taran locale other than holding onto 7.5 kg of heroin alongside arms and ammo from the Pakistan line in three activities in Amritsar and Ferozepur areas on January 12, a BSF official said.

In the third occurrence, a gun, a magazine and five rounds of ammo were recuperated after a hunt in the Amritsar area.
