A dissident has written to police looking for a First Information Report against movie producer Mahesh Manjrekar and makers of Marathi film Nay Varan Bhat Loncha Kon Nay Koncha under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses Act (POCSO), Indecent Representation of Woman (Prohibition) Act, and the Information Technology Act.
Seema Deshpande, the Mumbai leader of Bhartiya Stree Shakti, a NGO, refered to the film’s trailer and said it shows young men doing profane demonstrations, and sums to an offense under the POCSO Act. It added the trailer is “scurrilous and requests to the lewd in interest”.

Deshpande said on the off chance that the film has been ensured, the Central Board of Film Certification ought to have revealed the make a difference to the police.
