It is a good news for the students who wish to take admission in IIT.
Now for application in JEE Advanced, they will not have to give GST with the registration fee. After the decision in GST Council meeting, IIT Kanpur has withdrawn the decision to take GST with the registration fee.
Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur will also make JEE Advanced GST Free this year. This examination is for admission to the institute. 2.24 lakh applicants who qualify for JEE MAIN this year can apply for JEE Advanced. The examination will be done in two shifts on May 20. It is completely computer-based. IIT Kanpur had fixed the date of examination, city center and fees.
Registration for JEE Advanced will start from May 2. Candidates can register till May 7. Students will be able to download the admission form from May 14. Examination centers will be set up in different states of the country. Apart from this, examination centers will also be made in Bangladesh’s Dhaka, Addis Ababa of Ethiopia, Kathmandu in Nepal, Singapore, Dubai and Colombo.
