The lethal fire at the exceptional infant care unit (SNCU) of the Kamla Nehru Children’s Hospital in Bhopal began when a ventilator machine was connected and starts flew, a request report said on Wednesday.
The clinic the board, in the mean time, affirmed that main four newborn children passed on because of the fire at the public authority clinic on Monday night, and not more.
Locale authority Avinash Lavania presented his report into the fire to the state government on Wednesday.
“As indicated by Pediatrics Department head Jyotsna Shrivastava, the fire broke out in SNCU, situated on the third floor, at around 8.30 pm on November 8 when the obligation specialist and others connected an electric attachment to begin a ventilator.
“It started and fire broke out,” an authority explanation said, citing the report.
