Today, Shiv Sena leader Aaditya Thackeray tweeted eight lakh vaccination doses in Maharashtra until 9 p.m., the highest in the state so far, in one day.
“Maharashtra’s new record in vaccination: Crossed 8 lakh shots in a day. Till 9 pm 8,01.847. Till date 3,39,11,029 shots have been administered in the State. As and when vaccines are supplied to the State & private sector, the vaccination is at record numbers,” Aditya Thackeray tweeted.
He stated that thus far Maharashtra has provided 3,39,11,029 vaccination injections, including the current state record.
Maharashtra is the country’s first county to vaccinate people with three crore marks.
Maharashtra today recorded 9,489 new coronavirus infections and 153 associated deaths in 24 hours as a result of the worst-hit country, the State Department of Health said. In the same period following recuperation, 8,395 patients were released. This led to a 96% increase in the positive rate of the State, while the death rate fell to 2.01%.
So far, 60,88,841 cases with 1,22,724 deaths have been recorded by the state.
