The Covid-19 lock in Bihar was lifted and certain restrictions in some areas have been eased by the Government for a week. The night curfew is still in operation from 7 pm until 5 am, and the private and public authorities will operating at a capacity of 50% up to 4 pm by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.

Nitish Kumar, who stood up after he had lifted the lockdown ws from Covid-19, said Bihar people had to adhere to every protocol. The development of the Mithapur region and the restoration to the Patna Junction system under Smart City Patna were reviewed by Nitish Kumar on Friday.

“Some restrictions have been imposed… If people wear masks and follow the guidelines, it will be in their interest. Bihar has been unlocked for a week now. Further decision will be taken on the basis of feedback we get,” the chief minister told reporters.

“We talk to people everywhere. Talks are held with the district magistrates of all the districts. Everyone gives their feedback. On that basis, it is decided what decision should be taken next. The lockdown has benefited a lot,” he added.

He visited certain areas, including Danapur, in Patna, the state capital, Kumar said, and found that not many people were on the streets but those seen outside had no masks. The chief minister said that the government is trying to stop the spread and development of the coronavirus disease. “People should have a chance to work. We ask you to use a mask for everybody. When you use a mask, the effect of corona infection will be reduced, “He said. He said.

Nitish Kumar stressed the importance of increasing the testing rate during a meeting to review the health department’s operations on Friday. People were venturing out of their homes and coming into close contact with one another as the lockdown was lifted and restrictions were eased, he said.

In order to prevent a new outbreak of the disease, the chief minister said that increased vigilance in the form of aggressive testing and tracing was required.

On Friday, Bihar reported 566 new Covid-19 cases, with the death toll rising by 14. Bihar’s death toll from the coronavirus disease has risen to 9466, with a total of 716,296 confirmed cases, according to the state’s health department. However, after being infected with the coronavirus, 799,481 people have recovered, and there are currently 6343 active cases of Covid-19. The rate of recovery is 97.79 percent.

According to the health department, approximately 110,000 samples were tested in the last 24 hours. In the state of nearly 130 million people, about 31 million samples have been tested so far.
