On Monday, May 31, Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan wrote to his colleagues in non-BJP states, urging them to make a “united effort” to seek the Union Government to acquire COVID-19 vaccinations for the states and distribute them free of charge. Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, West Bengal, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Delhi, Punjab, and Maharashtra are among the eleven states to get the letter.
