In the case related to Dumka Treasury, all accused in the case including former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad and RJD chief will appear in the court on 27th January. The hearing was postponed due to a holiday in the court due to the Republic Day celebrations on January 26. On the directions of the Supreme Court, the hearing is going on daily. This case is related to RC 47-96. In this case, there is an illegal withdrawal of 139.35 crores from Donda Treasury.
The case of Dumka Treasury is also going on in the court of Special Judge Shivpal Singh of the CBI who on January 6 had sentenced Lalu Yadav and 15 other accused in the case of Devghar. Lalu Prasad Yadav has been sentenced to 13.5 years in three cases in the fodder scam till now.
