Sonu Sood, Bollywood star, is taking oxygen plants from France and other countries to be installed in different locations across India. Sonu Sood intends to install at least four oxygen plants in India’s worst-affected COVID-19 districts, including Delhi and Maharashtra.
“We have seen a lot of people suffering because of the unavailability of oxygen cylinders. We have got it now, and are already giving it to people. However, these oxygen plants will not only supply to entire hospitals but will also get these oxygen cylinders filled up, which will solve a major problem of the people suffering from Covid-19,” said Sonu.
Entertainment Industry Tracker, Ramesh Bala tweeted thanking Sonu Sood for making the Oxygen arrangements.
According to an official release, the first plant has already been ordered and it will be arriving in 10 – 12 days from France.
Bollywood actor and philanthropist Sonu Sood further said, “Time is the biggest challenge for us at the moment and we are working our best to make sure everything comes in time and we don’t lose more lives”.
Many individuals have become affected by the second wave of coronavirus, and the number of COVID-19 positive cases has been rapidly increasing. Many Bollywood stars, including Priyanka Chopra, Anushka Sharma, Amitabh Bachchan, Varun Dhawan, Akshay Kumar, and others, have stepped forward to support those affected by the COVID-19 pandemic in the region.
Many celebrities, including Katrina Kaif, Taapsee Pannu, Alia Bhatt, Mira Rajput, and Bhumi Pednekar, have been using social media to raise awareness for those in need.
Earlier, Yash Raj Films came forward and vowed to vaccinate the entire Hindi film industry’s everyday workforce. YRF has launched the ‘Saathi’ campaign, which provides financial assistance to all Bollywood daily wage jobs.
Separately, Sonu recently revealed a new film named ‘Kisaan,’ which will be directed by E Niwas and produced by Raaj Shaandilyaa. He will also appear in the upcoming Telugu film ‘Acharya,’ which stars Chiranjeevi.
