Home Minister Rajnath Singh says that crime in cybercrime is increasing by 21% every year. In a recent meeting with the security forces, he instructed that the security forces prepare themselves for this big challenge of the future.
Citing security forces: Referring to the CERT-in report received by the Home Ministry, the Home Minister has said that cyber crime is also increasing at the same speed as the speed at which computer and internet use is increasing. He warned the security forces about the movement of militant and terrorist groups in cyber world. Referring to future challenges, the Home Minister said that they have to be monitored by creating an effective mechanism. He also asked to create mechanism for quick response.
Worried: Rajnath Singh said that misuse of social media and internet in the country is becoming a matter of concern. To combat cyber crime, India has extended cooperation with countries such as America, Israel, Australia and Britain.
