The ‘Badhaai Ho’ actress will feature alongside megastar Amitabh Bachchan and south sensation Rashmika Mandanna.
The 61-year-old actress will play Big B’s wife in the film ‘Goodbye.’
This is the first time Neena and Amitabh would appear in a film together.
Both Neena and the ‘Sholay’ actor have mutual respect for one another, and Neena has long respected his work.
She was overjoyed to be a part of the project, she said “I was overjoyed when Vikas told me about the film. It’s a fantastic script, and when the script is this exciting, one doesn’t think about anything else. Even the part is wonderfully composed, and I am thrilled to be sharing screen time with Mr. Bachchan. It’s a fantasy come true for me, and I’m overjoyed about it.”
In a handwritten note, the ‘Agneepath’ actor thanked the ‘Pinni’ star for her role in the 2018 film ‘Badhaai Ho.’
Neena previously collaborated with Ekta Kapoor on the film ‘Veere Di Wedding,’ and ‘Goodbye’ marks the duo’s second collaboration.
‘Goodbye,’ a Good Co. movie, is directed by Vikas Bahl, whose previous directorial ‘Super 30′ was a huge hit. It is produced by Balaji Telefilms and Reliance Entertainment.

Rashmika recently celebrated her birthday on the sets of Goodbye. Because of the present pandemic crisis, the celebration was low-key and adhered to all Covid-19 protocol. Rashmika captioned a photo from her birthday party, “What a satisfying day feels like..” P.S. The mask was just disabled for taps! Often wear a mask, guys (sic).” The birthday girl posted two pictures, one with Big B and one with Vikas Bahl. The actress is seen posing with a bunch of gold and white balloons in the third frame.
