Her post went viral on the Internet in less than an hour. Tahira Kashyap is seen in the photo with a bald head and a bikini, posing like a “badass” for the camera. “Bald, badass, and bikini!” said the caption on the photo. “At least not wearing ripped jeans,” Tahira Kashyap wrote, seemingly in response to new Uttarakhand Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat’s remark that women degrade society by wearing ripped jeans.
Actress Bhumi Pednekar, producer Ekta Kapoor, and Huma Qureshi all praised Tahira Kashyap’s post. In the comments section of Tahira’s post, Bhumi and Ekta Kapoor left clapping icons, while actress Huma Qureshi left a fiery icon.
Several Tahira supporters referred to her as “beautiful” and “brave” in their comments.
Tahira, who is married to actor Ayushmann Khurrana, frequently updates her Instagram account about her battle with cancer. Last year, on National Doctors Day, she shared a throwback photo with the doctors who treated her, along with the caption: “I had no idea #doctorsday existed until recently, but my recent health scare has made me appreciate all of them even more! This photo was taken on the day of my 12th and final chemotherapy treatment! It’s a date I’ll never forget. The date is January 5, 2019. The port cotton swab is on the shoulder blade. And the green-clad nurse is holding a box of chocolates that I had given to them all as a token of my gratitude!”
After uploading a picture of herself with a scar on her back, Tahira Kashyap also became a social media sensation.
