Ankita, the troubled daughter-in-law of Bhartiya Janta Party MP Kaushal Kishore, attempted suicide in the middle of the night of Sunday and Monday. Ankita has been admitted to Lucknow’s Civil Hospital, where she is said to be in safe condition.
According to sources, Ankita shared two videos on social media before slitting her wrists, in which she claimed that she was ending her life. Ankita said in the video that her death was caused by her husband Ayush, MP Kaushal Kishore, her MLA mother-in-law Jai Devi, and Ayush’s brother in law the video, Ankita can be seen weeping and making serious accusations against the MP’s son and her husband, Ayush.
According to the information available, Ankita tried to bring an end to her life by cutting off the wrist artery. Ankita was then rushed to the hospital where she was receiving treatment. The situation is said to be stable now.
Ankita accused Ayush in the video of betraying her. The lady said she was waiting for Ayush to arrive, but she didn’t come to meet her. According to her account, Aayush went to Sundays to the Madiaon Police Station to record the complaint. The cops stopped her from seeing him when she went to the police station to see Ayush.
Speaking to the media in the hospital, Ankita said, “I cut my hand with a blade outside the house of Ayush. At that time Ayush’s mother and other people were walking outside. Nobody was able to discourage me. About an hour and a half, the police arrived.”
In Ankita’s video, which went viral on Sunday, Ankita could be seen weeping and saying that her husband Ayush had visited the police station and had not yet met her.
“You (Ayush) used to say that the housemates don’t love me. I’ve been with you every step of the way, so you’ve taken everything away from me. Nothing has ever happened to you. You’ve gone to your home. Haven’t you thought of me? The rent is not charged, nor is there a gas cylinder. Whether I ate or not, you didn’t inquire. I’m going, far from now. You’re going to know. I made the fatal mistake of being with you.” Ankita was heard in the video just before she tried to commit suicide.
Earlier on Sunday, Ayush Kishore appeared before the additional police commissioner, Prachi Singh, to record his statement following the order of the High Court.
It may be noted that Ayush had a love marriage last year with Ankita. The parents of the family were not pleased with his marriage. Ayush lived with his wife in a leased house in Lucknow’s Mandiaon mohalla.
