Aanchal Thakur of Himachal Pradesh has won medal in the International Skiing Competition in Skiing and is the first Indian to win this medal. The 21-year-old Anchal won the bronze medal in the ‘Alpine Eder-3200 Cup’ tournament. These tournaments were organized by the International Ski Federation in Turkey. After this success of Aanchal, many people including PM Modi have congratulated her through social media.
According to media reports, his father Roshan Thakur had also given training in paragliding. PM Modi is also fond of Paragliding. It is being told that his father had done this work about 20 years ago and Modi was also fond of paragliding.
