Gariaband, Chhattisgarh: A shocking viral video revealed a calm and composed Leopard sitting on the tree, sources mentioned that it stayed there for straight 12 hours.
The villagers of Gariaband, a district in Chhattisgarh, took fright at the sight of leopard sitting upon branches of tree on early Sunday morning. Sources mentioned that it stayed there for 12 hours after which it climbed down and ran towards the jungle.
The plight of the incident came in light when people cultivating Mahua, a nectar-rich plant, at that time spotted the leopard sitting on a roadside tree which immediately shook them.
The Mahua cultivators ran towards other villagers and alerted them about the situation roadside in the village.
Soon the crowds gathered in large numbers to see the animal of the family cat, however, as soon as the large gathering started to clear, the innocent animal automatically hopped back his way to his home, the jungle.
The Chhattisgarh police did a proud job of waiting for the wild-animal to get back to where he belongs on his own.
Nobody was harmed and the leopard wasn’t in an attack position whatsoever, the sources reported.
This is not the first instance when a leopard has climbed a tree, it’s in fact common. Due to their strong muscular and backbone strength these felines are a natural when it comes to hopping on trees.
