A bus and container truck collided in Madhya Pradesh this morning, killing seven people and injuring 14.
The accident took place at around 7 am on a highway near in a village in Bhind district.
According to the police, four of the injured are in serious condition and have been transported to a hospital in Gwalior, which is 79 kilometres away. The passengers aboard the bus were travelling from Gwalior to the Madhya Pradesh town of Bareli.
“We have arrested the driver. The incident is being investigated,” police officer Manoj Singh said.
