PESA Act is for the empowerment of tribal brothers and sisters. It is not against anyone, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said.
This will be applicable in 89 tribal dominated areas of the state and not in cities, he said.
Chouhan was addressing the public meeting to aware the masses on the PESA organized at Pandhana in Khandwa district on Wednesday.
Talking to the reporters, Chouhan said Tantya Mama’s sacrifice day will be observed on 4th December.
He said last year, we had taken out a yatra before the martyrdom day of Tantya Mama ji, the sun of revolution, who had fought with full strength against exploitation against the British and organized a program to pay tribute to him at Indore.
