The Customs Preventive division on Wednesday held onto 23 kg of carried gold at Karipur worldwide air terminal in Kozhikode, Kerala. A traditions office official said that this is the biggest single-day take of the yellow metal lately in the country.
The valuable metal was seized under an activity named ‘Desert Storm’, news office PTI revealed. In the day-long activity, sent off after a clue, travelers from seven flights were looked and 23 captured.

These travelers showed up in Kozhikode from different Gulf nations. Certain individuals who came to get gold were likewise captured.

The activity was done together by a group of the investigators of the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) and the traditions office.
