Bodhgaya: In Bodhgaya, Bihar, there was a stir with the bomb near the Mahabodhi temple. Tibetan religious leader Dalai Lama is currently in Bodh Gaya, in such a situation, the police alert was received by the news of the bomb. Immediately the police reached the spot and the bomb disposal squad took him along to defuse the bomb. Both the bombs were 10-10 kg.
These bombs were found in Kalachakra plain near Mahabodhi temple. In fact, there was a small explosion in a thermos near the Kalachak field kitchen. After the blast, the police stationed in the security forces reached there. These bombs were recovered when the surrounding areas were searched. The police immediately called the bomb disposal squad. The bomb disposal squad took those bombs with them to defuse them.
Buddhist Dalai Lama is still in Bodh Gaya on a month’s stay. The Dalai Lama was giving a discourse shortly before the bombs were recovered near the Kalachak plain. The Dalai Lama has been held in Mahabodhi temple. These bombs were found just 100 meters away from Mahabodhi temple.
Given the migration of the Dalai Lama, there is strict security in Bodh Gaya right now. In such a situation, finding live bombs is a big question on the security system.
In 2013, there was a serial blast near Mahabodhi temple. Two Buddhist monks were injured in that blast. The Indian Mujahideen had the hand in the blasts. Since that incident, security of Mahabodhi temple had been increased, but once again the bomb is found, the security system is questioned once again.
