Fifteen passengers killed including 14 persons killed on spot, 22 passengers were injured after a bus collided with a truck from rear side near Suhagi pahari in Rewa district on Friday night.
According to the police the bus was going from Hyderabad to Gorakhpur and the passengers belonged to Uttar Pradesh. The accident occurred on national highway NH-30 near Sohagi pahari in Rewa district.
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan tweets the sad news was received about the accident of a passenger bus going from Hyderabad to Gorakhpur in Rewa. I pay my tributes to the departed souls in this extremely heartbreaking incident. I pray to God for the speedy recovery of the injured.
MP Transport and Revenue Minister Govind Singh Rajput tweets a bus from Gonda district of Uttar Pradesh collided with a Uttar Pradesh truck and crashed on the border of Uttar Pradesh in Suhagi Ghati in front of Rewa Chakghat. There are 22 injured passengers of the bus who are being treated at Sanjay Gandhi Hospital Rewa.
