U. P. After clues from NIA and ED, Kanpur Police seized the largest number of old notes. The police has caught 7 people, including renowned builder Kanpur, textile trader and money exchanger, with old notes worth Rs 90 crore.
The ban was interrogated by many police teams, about 14 months after where such a large amount came from and where it was preparing to buy it. It is being told that the police had received secret information about the zakira of old notes. When the officers raided Hotel Gagan, their eyes were torn off. In many rooms, the bundles of notes like the bed were kept hidden. Police has arrested Vijay Prakash and Om Prakash of Sants, Sanjay Singh, Anil and Saharanpur from the spot.
